SIESTA Coffee are looking for people who love working with and motivating a team, have a strong work ethic, a track record of success, entrepreneurial enthusiasm and the necessary financial qualifications.
We’re looking for franchise partners who embrace SIESTA community ethos and make their coffee house the home of their local neighbourhood!

What kind of training program can I expect?

All new franchise partners participate in our dedicated pre-store opening training program. This involves initial classroom training on all things SIESTA Coffee with a member of our Operations Team.
Franchise Partners will also experience hands on training in our established Flagship SIESTA Coffee STORE in order to fully understand how the operation works. In addition you will spend time at our Head Office with key management discussing marketing, accounting and the overall SIESTA Coffee philosophy.
Franchisees will also get to visit our dedicated coffee roaster in LIVERPOOL to see first-hand how our delicious coffee is roasted to perfection!

How long is the Franchise Agreement, and is it renewable?

The length of the Franchise Agreement is dependent upon the length of the term of the lease of the property in which your SIESTA Coffee house is based.
As long as the franchise owner is in good standing with payments and the lease is renewable with the property landlord the franchise agreement will be eligible for renewal.
SIESTA COFFEE typically enter a lease for an initial period of 10-15 years.

How much is the franchise fee?

The cost of the franchise fee is £20,000 ex vat

How much does it cost to open a store?

Start-up costs vary considerably dependent upon format, size, location and lease costs.
SIESTA Coffee set up costs typically come in at around £160,000-£198,000, costs including the franchise fee, property agency fees, store design, shop fit out costs, furniture, equipment. Inventory, new store marketing and working capital is not included which you need to have set aside.

How much capital will I need?

You will be required to have a minimum of £75,000 liquid.

How much is the royalty payment and how is it collected?

The royalty is 8% of gross sales, payable weekly via Direct Debit. The franchise owner must use the POS system we specify, the POS system will be polled to keep track of sales.

How much money will I make?
This will depend on a number of factors and decisions you make about your business. With the right commitment and passion for service you will see the rewards.
What is the Marketing fee and what does it cover?
The marketing fee is 2% of gross sales and is collected on a weekly basis via Direct Debit, along with your weekly royalty fee.
The marketing fee is used for the creation, production and placement of promotional materials, public relations, market research, brand recognition, and in-house staff co-ordinating these efforts.

Will SIESTA COFFEE help me find a suitable property?

Yes. SIESTA COFFEE, have a team of consultants dedicated to sourcing and identifying successful properties. From researchers, to commercial property agents, to solicitors, SIESTA COFFEE work with our partners to negotiate, review and prepare all the necessary documents.

How long does the franchise process typically take from signing the franchise agreement to opening the store?
The total length of the process from signing the SIESTA Coffee franchise agreement to opening your store is largely dependent on how long it takes to find and acquire a suitable premises.
Typically the process can take anywhere from 4-8months from signing the franchise agreement, securing the premises, ensuring all of the legal documents are signed and in order, designing the store, tendering, store fit out , training to opening the store.

Will I be able to sell my franchise?
We are always looking to build long term relationships with our franchisees. You do have the right to sell your SIESTA COFFEE STORE at any time, subject to SIESTA approving the buyer.

What does the SIESTA Coffee franchise system include?

Owning and operating an SIESTA Coffee franchise, use of brand name, trademarks, recipes, operational systems and methods, and décor. Additionally, you will receive support in these specific areas:

  • Facility planning on site location and architectural design
